Delano first established himself in the early '90s, directing music videos for artists such as Take That, Lenny Kravitz, Simply Red, T-Spoon and many European artists.
As well as art installations and short films, Delano has created groundbreaking campaigns for Nike, Gap, Heineken, Puma, Deutsche Bank, Paco Rabanne, Mercedes Benz and many more.
His work has been nominated for, and awarded at the Cannes Lions, Art Director's Club Netherlands (ADCN), Creative Belgium Awards (CBA), MTV VMAs, Viva Awards, Eurobest, Ciclope, The One Show, TMF Awards, and the EVMA.
His 2021 short film The Colour of Spinach was selected for the Berlin Fashion Film Festival and the Buenos Aires Fashion Film Festival. At the 2024 Creative Belgium Awards, his film The Road won Silver.
Driven by a deep fascination with human behaviour, his protagonists often inhabit the edges of their own sanity — an ongoing exploration of what it means to be human.
